Woodstock Live celebrates the 10th anniversary of bringing live music to the town square over the August Bank Holiday weekend. It has become a ‘calendar’ event for locals and visitors alike, who all enjoy the unique combination of a truly eclectic offering of music bouncing off the walls of the 12th century and later architecture surrounding the natural amphitheatre in the heart of our lovely town. It’s free, it’s friendly, it’s fun… and if we nod gratefully to our sister town in New York State, which in 1969 hosted the greatest music festival of all time, then we do it with respect and awe and in the tradition of celebrating musicians playing music they love for you to enjoy! Woodstock has a unique offer of romance, history and charm. Apart from hosting many interesting events, the town boasts delightful hotels, restaurants and bars, independent and creative shops, historic churches, two museums and a large palace with wonderful grounds, next door! Check it out whilst you are here or come back another day!
Get the dates in your diaries and confirmation on your calendars, because Woodstock Live 2016 is all set for Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th August.
